Classes 16-20: No-Code Automation Fundamentals, Data Pipelines (Pipeline Builder + Power Automate), Building AI Agents (Agent Studio + Ask Sage), Power Automate + Ask Sage API, Capstone + Course Synthesis

The preceding modules equipped military leaders to evaluate, select, and govern AI tools, yet the persistent gap between conceptual understanding and operational implementation renders that knowledge inert without the capacity to engineer automated solutions from first principles. Module 4 closes this gap through five classes progressing from universal automation vocabulary through platform-specific construction to a capstone integration exercise demanding original design across all twenty classes of course concepts.

The curriculum identifies nine universal building blocks that transfer across every automation platform regardless of vendor or interface, then applies those patterns to increasingly complex systems: deterministic data pipelines joining enterprise sources into unified commander dashboards, AI-augmented workflows where confidence-based routing dynamically calibrates human oversight to each situation, and non-deterministic agents that decide their own execution paths within bounded autonomy constraints. The foundational architectural principle separating workflow orchestration from AI intelligence enables military organizations to swap platforms, upgrade models, and adapt to new tools without rebuilding the underlying design, while mandatory error handling, token budgeting, and pre-deployment testing across five categories ensure that automation reliability meets operational standards where silent failures carry consequences measured in readiness and force protection rather than revenue.

Leaders completing Module 4 acquire engineering capacity to map any routine military process to an automation pattern, progress through a four-tier maturity model from ad-hoc AI usage through autonomous operation, and defend every design decision with quantified rationale spanning cost, risk, and human oversight requirements. The module transforms theoretical literacy from Modules 1 through 3 into practical capability, establishing architectural knowledge that survives platform changes, vendor transitions, and the continuous evolution of AI technology across military organizations at every echelon.
