By the end of this lesson, participants will be able to:

  1. Design a complete AI-powered automation solution for a military scenario including platform selection, workflow design, HITL gates, error handling, and cost estimation
  2. Identify the 9 universal building blocks in an unfamiliar automation platform (proving transferability)
  3. Evaluate tradeoffs in their own design (platform choice, AI model, HITL level, cost) and defend decisions
  4. Teach automation fundamentals to a peer (demonstrating reflective mastery)
  5. Create a personal learning roadmap for continued AI skill development

Introduction

Every class in this course built toward this one. In Module 1 (Classes 1-7), you learned what AI is, how tokens and context windows constrain performance, and how to write effective prompts. In Module 2 (Classes 8-11), you learned which platforms exist, where they operate by classification level, and how to select the right tool for your data. In Module 3 (Classes 12-15), you learned when to trust AI, when to override it, and how human-in-the-loop oversight keeps automation accountable. In Module 4 (Classes 16-19), you learned the 9 universal building blocks, how to construct data pipelines and workflows, how to design AI agents, and how to connect any automation platform to any AI API.
